Nutrition Policy
EVA is moving toward developing and implementing a school nutrition policy. Developing a school nutrition policy is supposed to be a joint effort of school administration, teachers, parents, students and the community.
The Government of Manitoba has an entire website dedicated to nutrition in the school and nutrition policies: http://www.gov.mb.ca/healthyschools/foodinschools/.
Pembina Trails School Division has a self-assessment checklist that schools can use to evaluate their progress on developing a comprehensive approach to nutrition issues
